The chamber group Camarada, established in 1994, will present “Le Moment du Cristal” on Saturday as part of its Remixx Concert Series.
The program is part of the fifth annual Villa-Lobos International Festival, which features 13 Latin American-centric chamber concerts across Southern California.
The concert, which will begin with “Trio” by 19th century composer Friedrich Kuhlau, will feature Beth Ross Buckley (flute), Frank Renk (clarinet), Bridget Dolkas (violin), Lars Hoefs (cello) and Dana Burnett (piano).
The rest of the program will include works by Brazilian composer Liduino Pitombeira, Matthew Tommasini, Yuko Uebayashi and Michael Torke.
The performance will be presented in concert with a Bread and Salt gallery group exhibition titled “Xquisite Corpse.”
